I had the opportunity to test ride the new Chieftain. I would definitely be in the market for this machine. It rode great and had some snap with a twist of the throttle. Although the ride was too short, I did get a real feel for this bike, which felt light and agile. It is a beautiful bike. Well done.
It did run hot much like my ‘05 RK but perhaps with an addition of oil cooler that could be addressed.
I do plan to check them out in more detail when they arrive around December to the Daytona Beach location.
