According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the remaining assets of Erik Buell Racing were sold for $2.25 million to Atlantic Metals Group LLC. The buyer has agreed to acquire all the factory machinery, tooling, motorcycle inventory, parts inventory, accounts receivable and intangible assets.
In a previously announced deal, Hero MotoCorp, which owned 49% of Erik Buell Racing, acquired Buell’s consulting business assets for $2.8 million.
Where does EBR go from there? We’ll just have to sit and wait to see if Erik ‘The Come Back Kid’ Buell will still be a part of this wild adventure. We certainly hope so…
