TOM FOSTER’S TRUCK WAS HIT AND THE BASTARD RAN– It iz a 65 C-10 Chevy… He needs a driver’s door, the front fender and maybe a bed, or the left side.
Drop Tom a line if you can help.
Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans.
He gave Noah the blueprints, saying: You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights.
Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard – but no Ark.
Noah! He roared, I’m about to start the rain! Where is the Ark ?
Forgive me, Lord, begged Noah, ‘but things have changed.
I needed a building permit.
I’ve been arguing with the inspector about the need for a sprinkler
system.
My neighbors claim that I’ve violated the neighborhood zoning laws by
building the Ark in my yard, and exceeding the height limitations. We had
to go to the Development Appeal Board for a decision.
Then, the Department of Transportation demanded a bond be posted for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark ‘s move
to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear nothing of it.
Getting the wood was another problem. There’s a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the spotted owl.
I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls – but no go!
When I started gathering the animals, an animal rights group sued me. They insisted that I
was confining wild animals against their will. They argued that accommodations were too
restrictive, and that it is cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space.
Then the EPA ruled that I couldn’t build the Ark until they’d conducted an environmental
impact study on your proposed flood.
I’m still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many
minorities I’m supposed to hire for my building crew.
Immigration is checking the status of most of the people who want to work.
The Trades Unions say I can’t use my sons. They insist I have to hire only Union workers with Ark-building experience.
To make matters worse, they seized all my assets, claiming I’m trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species.
So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this Ark.
Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine, and a double rainbow stretched across the sky.
Noah looked up in wonder and asked, ‘You mean you’re not going to destroy the world?’
‘No,’ said the Lord.
The government beat me to it.

Well, it’s that time of year again, Father’s Day is coming and you haven’t gotten Dad
a gift yet. I’m sure you’re trying to decide between that Home Depot gift
card or a BBQ set. WAIT! Don’t buy anything yet until you’ve read
this!!!! I’ve found the ultimate CANDY to give as a Father’s Day gift: Beercandy!
Yes, that’s right, candy made with beer. You have your choice of
Caramels, Beertaffy, and HopDrops (which are hard candies made with real Hop
oil).
Steve Casselman began brewing beer at home back in 1985. This past
October, he started the Beercandy website in order to bring his beer candy to
life. Steve uses 4 kinds of beer to make his candy: IPA, Stout, Lager and
Lambic.
My husband is a huge beer fan and I’m actually on the site right now, ordering
some Beercandy for his Father’s Day gift. Review to come!

– Repeal of Michigan’s Motorcycle Helmet Law? After years of protesting
Michigan’s helmet law at Capitol rallies, motorcyclists converged last week for
a “call to victory rally.” The reason for optimism? Gov. Rick Snyder has
replaced Jennifer Granholm, who twice vetoed repeals of the helmet law. The
state Senate Transportation Committee passed a repeal that should soon go
before the full Senate, while a bill is pending in the House of
Representatives. Talking about Governor Rick Snyder, Vince Consiglio, president
of the state chapter of American Bikers Aiming Toward Education (ABATE) says: “There
are enough votes in both chambers to change the helmet law. It’s a fluid
situation. I think we’ve got a better chance and we keep the motto “Let those
who ride decide”. As usual, opponents claim that a repeal would increase deaths
and serious injuries, and cost taxpayers in medical bills and increased
insurance premiums.

Noted Motorsport Artist Eric Herrmann paints “Wild Life”– No worries, Eric didn’t go off the deep end and start painting Butterflies and Bunnies! It’s just the title of his latest painting.
The “Wild Life” in this work of art is the people out having a bit of fun on a beautiful desert afternoon. Blasting down a two lane, crossing a double yellow, somewhere between finger rock and big breast butte, the biker, hot rodder, and their All-American, gun totin, passengers, have some harmless fun. The driver and rider pound fists while the gals flash and remove their Red, White, and Blue tops.
As in most of Eric’s work, it’s the details that tell the story. The V/8 and other tattoos, cigarettes rolled in a sleeve, reflections from the bike passenger as they blow by the Bunny Star Ranch, The Goodguys sticker on the hot rod, and the 911 remembrance on the biker’s rings, it’s all there. A Bald Eagle, Diamondback Rattlesnake, Gila Monster, Coyote, and Roadrunner all
add to the potential treachery and sense of freedom. Both the 51 Merc. (GNRS
Winner) and the stunning bagger were home built by their owners.
‘In my paintings I can have as much fun and freedom as I like’ states Eric. No one gets hurt, no tickets or jail time are handed out, no motors ever blow up. Enjoy the fun within the artwork. Our American freedoms are diminishing: we are overcome with laws and regulations, and will soon be forced to drive electric vehicles. I even had to paint this work in two formats, censored and un-censored, to be politically correct, states Eric. You have the option of having her top on or off! ‘Wild Life’ will surely become a cult classic in our Motorsport History.
Eric will be unveiling ‘Wild Life’ to the public at his display in Sturgis this year.
Located at Cheyenne Crossing, Rt. 85 & 14A, on the Deadwood side of the entrance to Spearfish Canyon, Eric will be open from August 4th -13th.

A man goes into a Barnes and Noble and asks the young female clerk, “Do you have the new book out for men with short penises? I can’t remember the title.”
The man said, “That’s the one. I’ll take a copy.”
