OK – the majority of the wiring at this point is taken care of. Now to the fun part. Making it look like a realscooter. For this segment, we add wheels and sheet metal.

 

We start by preparing the rear for the fender install. The passenger pegs (for looks only….) are installedfirst because the fender will interfere with the bolts if installed later.

 

The rear frame members are then covered to keep from scratching the paint and powder coat.

 

And the rear fender is placed into position. Two bungs behind the battery box are used to boltthe fender to the frame. To keep from creating paint chips on the sheet metal, etc – nylon washers wereused between all the painted surfaces.
