You know we have a forum board here on Bikernet that rivals any in the industry. Sometimes a reader sets up a few pictures in such a way that they open your imagination and tell a story all on their own.
One of our members, Ironheadziggy, recently went to the Harley drags at beach bend in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He took these pics and posted them in the forum under art, but they were laid out in a way that I sat up and took notice.
These pics actually reminded me of going to the drag strip with my dad as a little kid. I remember the sounds, the smells, even the taste of the burnt rubber in my throat. I can still hear the thunder of the engines followed by the explosive roar when they erupted of the line.
Thanks Zig for giving us all a glimpse into your weekend. I hope you all enjoy his trip and will yourselves contribute to the forum. You never know, I may use something I see….with your permission, of course.
