Car and motorcycle buffs who love metal have an opportunity June 8-9 on Detroit's Belle Isle to show what they got two months before the Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise.
Metallica's Orion Music + More Festival, to be held those dates, seeks applications from vehicle owners for a show that will be held on the island during the event.
Details on how to apply for the show are expected to be announced "soon," according to the event's website. The show's organizers appear to be willing to accept all sorts of vehicles from hot rods and muscle cars to custom cycles.
Tickets for the Orion Music + More Festival started going on sale last month on the event's website.
This year's lineup includes not only Metallica, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Deftones, Dropkick Murphys and several other acts.
