We have already purchased a helmet and leather jacket for this lucky pup! Thank you for your response. Answer: First of all, where will this dog be seated and how? I see less issues if you are talking about a motorcycle side car or a motorcycle trailer equipped with a kennel. But if you are talking about on the actual motorcycle with you, I don’t think this would be very safe for you or your pet. If you are going to carry a passenger, there are a few key items to keep in mind: Equip and Adjust Your Motorcycle: A passenger seat and footrests are required by law. Adjust tire pressure and suspension settings for the additional weight. (Do not exceed weight limitations specified in the owner’s manual.) Readjust mirrors. Passenger Preparation: Provide protective riding gear: eye protection, a DOT-approved helmet, boots, gloves, long riding pants and a high-visibility motorcycle jacket. Passengers under age 18 are required by law to wear a DOT-approved helmet. Small children are required by law to be able to reach both footrests with their feet while sitting on the passenger seat. Getting On and Off the Motorcycle: Start the engine before the passenger gets on. Squeeze the front brake while the passenger gets on or off the bike. Passengers should get off the bike before the operator. Passenger Safety Tips: Hold operator’s waist or hips, or motorcycle’s passenger hand-holds. The bike has a retro look, dual fuel tanks for fulfilling additional fuel needs, a 5.0-inch TFT screen, and a 937cc engine that comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Here’s our roundup. Takeaways The Ducati DesertX concept was showcased at EICMA 2019 and two years later, we have the production model. The front and rear fuel tanks on Ducati DesertX have capacity of 21 liters and 8 liters, respectively. Ducati DesertX features a muscular front fuel tank, a transparent windshield, a twin-pod LED headlamp, a split-style seat, an upswept exhaust, and an auxiliary fuel tank at the back. It houses a 5.0-inch TFT display and rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. The two-wheeler has a seat height of 875mm, a ground clearance of 250mm, and a kerb weight of 223kg. Engine & Specs The Ducati DesertX is powered by a 937cc, Testastretta twin-cylinder motor that churns out 108hp of power at 9,250rpm and 92Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. BSA Goldstar 650 This new BSA motorcycle is likely to be called as Goldstar 650. Both motorcycles offer a typical cruiser experience to riders with their signature old-school design and ergonomics. About a month ago, Honda reinvented the entry-level Rebel 300 in a down-sized version as Rebel 250. 2022 Honda Rebel 500 Colour Options The Japanese bikemaker has introduced new colour options for Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100. Honda is offering a new paint scheme called Pearl Organic Green in Rebel 500. This option will be available alongside the current paint schemes on offer namely Graphite Black, Mat Axis Gray and Matte Jeans Blue Metallic. The latest addition to the colour palette is a stark contrast to dark and stealthy shades currently available for Rebel 500. On the other hand, Rebel 1100 sees the addition of a flashy new colour called Pearl Stallion Brown. The paint scheme also benefits from the blacked-out components lending the motorcycle a sporty dual-tone appeal. Rebel 500- Specs Apart from the added colour options, there have been no changes made in either of the cruiser bikes in terms of mechanicals or features. Rebel 500 is powered by a 471cc parallel-twin motor that also propels CB500X and CB500R. This unit pushes out 47 bhp at 8500rpm and a peak torque of 44.6Nm at 6000rpm. The Piaggio-owned sportsbike marque has revived its old nameplate with a product which conforms to the original philosophy. Aprilia Tuareg 660 – Overview The styling, however, has nothing in common with any of Aprilia’s existing and previous models. The striking front fascia with compartmentalised headlamp cluster and tall windscreen is highly unconventional. With a tall stance, massive fuel tank, comfortable seats and an upward sweeping exhaust canister, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 is a typical adventure tourer which is not afraid to get its tyres dirty. The Italian motorcycle is equipped with spoke wheels (21 inch front and 18 inch rear), dual-purpose tyres, long-travel (240 mm) upside down front telescopic forks and progressive linkage rear suspension system, twin front discs and a single rear disc. Ceat rolls out new Gripp X3 tyres for motorcycles

Ceat has recently launched its new Gripp X3 tyres for motorcycles in India. These tyres are designed with company’s new Dual Compound Technology (DCT) which gives it strong grip while on roads, CEAT said in a release. Speaking on the launch Nitish Bajaj, Senior Vice President (Marketing) said, “Gripp X3, India’s first of its kind tyre maintains the same grip in its entire lifetime, thus guaranteeing safe and comfortable ride to the riders.” The Dual Compound Technology is developed by CEAT to deal with the problem of tyres losing its grip with aging. This technology ensures that when the outer layer of tyre is worn out, the internal high strength layer maintains the grip and provides longevity to the tyre. “Two wheeler riders have to deal with potholes, stray animals, careless drivers on Indian roads and driving is a challenge in such circumstances. In such cases it becomes extremely important that the tyre should have excellent grip to prevent slipping on road thereby preventing an accident,” the release added.
