Yes, the brother of Billy Lane, a bike builder know by many with quite a history, built this terrific bike now owned by Ray Llanes. Here’s a little history of the bike.
The bike was ridden by Ray’s father-in-law, who had a bike shop in Miami in the ‘70s. It was owned by a club member and had come into the shop for work. But the owner ended up in prison for the long haul and never picked it up. The owner had told Ray’s father-in-law to keep it running, so he did, riding it regularly.
