“My First Ride”.
At the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, we work hard to keep exhibits fresh and we try to change out at least one exhibit each year so all of our visitors find something new when they stop in. This year, our new exhibit will be called “My First Ride” and we want your help putting it together. There are two ways you can be a part of this new exhibit.
First, you can tell us all about the first time you were on two wheels. What was it like for you? Were you riding behind some relative or friend? Or did you have the throttle in your hand? Did you crash? Did you have permission to be riding (either from your own parents, or from the owner of the bike) or was it a secret? Was it all you thought it would be? It’s the details we want – we want to hear about the fear, the exhilaration, the excitement, the ups and the downs.
