The Chip Gets Ready To Host 1000s

A little bird sent us spy photos of a 30-foot tall V-twin engine sculpture that weights over 50,000 lbs Big Engine sculpture that will greet bikers at the Buffalo Chip this year in Sturgis. The engine sculpture was made 100% onsite at the Chip and is all steel, painted black and chrome. The Big engine sculpture sits in front of the new 20,000 sqt Sturgis Rider Cafe which is the center piece of the all new, free-to-the-public CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip development

This is phase one of a the new 20 acre free access CrossRoads commercial development in front of the Buffalo Chip main entrance on 131st Ave, 4 mile east of Sturgis.

For the 2012 rally The CrossRoads will feature the new Sturgis Rider Cafe with great food, multiple full bars, raised viewing decks and marquee live entertainment, amazing Zip Line rides, Wall of Death, Roller Derby, Dual Burnout Pits, Rats Hole and custom bike shows, Bikini Bike Wash, Professional Wrestling, Vietnam Wall War Memorial, Paving The Way exhibit from the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, The Felid of Flags and a wide array of vendors and interactive displays with plenty of free parking.
