HORROR IN NEW HAMPSHIRE UPDATE

Sad that this happened and it has angered many people not just motorcyclist.

I think you are going to be seeing many of the motorcycle rights groups pushing for enhancement to Failure to Yield Right of way laws.

In many places it is $100 – $150 Fine

Amending the current laws is not as hard as making a new one But there will always be someone against it.

Let’s say motorcyclist start with suggesting if the Right of Way Violation involves someone getting injured the penalty would be increase to $1000. Loss of License for 6 months, 2 points on license, driver training school and attending watching film of motorcyclist that have been injured by others.

If someone dies the fine is increased to $3000, Loss of license for 1 year, 4 points on license, driver training school and attending watching film of motorcyclist that have been injured by others.

I would suggest we would want to start higher than what we actually would settle for so that the parties could negotiate a fair settlement.

Abate of CA tried to change the law in 2006 they wanted a point and one half and $1,000 fine. They did get a law passed with an increase penalty But not what they asked for because the teamsters lobbied against it.  If you want to know more contact Mac Henderson

I remember back to the Easyriders days and the guy dressed in a suit of armor.  Though people and legislature continue to push wearing all kind of equipment to protect ourselves against those who injure and kill us It Has Not Work and it is Past Time we address the Real Problem and that is the operators of other vehicles.

Laws Need To Be Passed That Make Them Take Violating This Law Seriously.

I do believe that motorcycle media should be all over this and suggest people support changing laws.

If we are loud enough it will make media outside of just us and things will get done.

With 2020 and elections it makes a perfect time to make the statement to legislators Support Biker Rights and Safety and we will as our readers to keep you in office, if you do not, we will let people know how you voted and suggest you be replaced.
