Helibars Adjustable Handlebar Riser Bridge

Just Released: HeliBars® Tour Performance

Adjustable Handlebar Riser Bridge

for Yamaha FJR1300 Motorcycles

CORNISH, Maine (August 2, 2013) — HeliBars® today introduced a three-position Tour Performance Handlebar Riser Bridge for Yamaha FJR1300 motorcycles that increases comfort, decreases upper-body fatigue and helps improve bike control.

The riser is a 1-inch thick, omega-shaped aluminum mount plate that easily bolts to the FJR's top triple clamp without permanent modifications. Its trio of handlebar-mounting positions raises the bars 1 inch higher, brings them up to 3 inches closer riders and makes them up to 3 inches wider. Their optimized offset also permits rotational adjustment.

These changes allow more natural seating positions for bodies of various torso and arm lengths to help riders more easily support their weight, taking some stress off their lower backs. All three ergonomic choices make for a less cramped cockpit that also helps increase leverage for lighter steering, more nimble low-speed maneuverability and better chassis feedback.

Even the least technically savvy riders will find them simple to mount with common tools and HeliBars' comprehensive installation instructions in less than two hours. The kit includes a hydraulic brake line extension and special banjo bolt that enables easy brake bleeding. Everything else stays stock. Heli's FJR Tour Performance Handlebar Riser Bridge is also pre-drilled to accept a Ram Ball mount for use with GPS devices and other electronic accessories.

Meticulously manufactured in Maine, the riser is finished in a tough, fade-resistant silver powder coating to match the bike's aesthetics. For strength and security, it comes with Allen-head hardware made from a tough steel alloy.

Like all HeliBars products, the FJR handlebar bridge is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee via Heli's 30-day return policy, and comes with a one-year warranty.

In 26 years, Heli Modified, Inc. has engineered 70 different HeliBars handlebars and handlebar riser systems—including 1998 to 2013 Yamahas. Designed and manufactured in the United States, they improve the ergonomics of Japanese and European sportbikes, sport tourers, touring bikes and cruisers without changing their overall looks.

Currently in development and soon to be introduced are Heli's Horizon Multi-Axis Adjustable Handlebar for the Harley-Davidson V-Rod and a much-anticipated Honda Gold Wing project.
