Gift Idea: Motocross Files On DVD

The first season of the first series that started it all-The Motocross Files (MXF)-is now available as a five-disc box set.

The total set includes over 15 hours of content between the five discs featuring shows #1 through #5 of the 21-episode series. Consumers will find what some in the media have called "The Mt. Rushmore of American Motocross" in one set. "Bad "Brad Lackey, Marty Smith, Roger "The Man" DeCoster, Ricky "Bad Boy" Johnson and Bob "Hurricane" Hannah are all included. Each DVD features the original TV program plus hours of interview extras and behind-the-scenes clips.

"It's been a long time coming to have this box set of Season One available… the shows that started it all," said Todd Huffman, The Motocross Files series creator and executive producer at Pipeline Digital Media. "These first five shows hold a special place for us because they gave us the chance to start telling these wonderful and important motocross stories."

Debuting in 2005 on SPEED Channel, MXF quickly became the definitive brand for "the history of the sport," and has since paved the way for Pipeline Digital Media to launch other motocross shows and movies. A total of 21 episodes of MXF have been created over three seasons with the most recent in 2009. Another 13 episodes are planned for 2013 when the producers finalize their TV network and sponsor partners.

The MXF Box Set retails for $79.95 (compared to $124.75 for individual titles) providing a savings of over $40.00 and can be found at www.motocrossfiles.com, Amazon and Impact Video.
