California Rain, High Water, Time To Ride for Higher Ground
Hey, I don’t know what to say this morning. It’s been raining steady for a couple of days, and California needs it bad, but I live at a very scary sea-level. If it’s high tide when the rains come, the streets won’t drain and we are forced to wait for the tide to recede.
I’m going to dive right into the news. I’m confused. I had a date last night for the first time in a year. She was very courteous and kind, but over the last week, between several friends, and my own experiences, some half-dozen or so women lied to us, or let us down. We have a couple of women on the staff who are highly trustworthy, but I’m sorta gun shy at this old age. So I better get to the news, before the hunt begins for true love once more.
