Plus we have new travel features flying at us. We are working on an ATK road test, building Wheeler Work Stations, and planning a photo shoot on our new line of 5-Ball leathers. Donā€™t even get me started. The shop dogs are pissed off that I havenā€™t bought another case of Mackerel. Letā€™s hit the news before ...

MRF Helps New York City Motorcyclists Avoid EPA Stamp Law

In a sweeping piece of legislation addressed by the New York City Council last month, there was a small provision that would have allowed NYC police to issue fines to motorcycles not displaying the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) exhaust stamp. This stamp is currently required by the EPA on all new motorcycles certifying that the level of sound coming out of the tailpipe meets the Federal limit of 80 decibels according to the Federal Noise Control Act of 1972. Should the stamp not be easily visible, and most of the time they are not, the NYPD would be able to issue noise violations for a motorcycle that was not even running. This was not the first time this has ...

Indian To Outsell Victory In 2014?

Indian Motorcycle is expected to outsell Victory, in 2014, according to a ā€œTop 10 Predictions for 2014ā€ list by Robin M. Farley, an analyst with UBS Investment Research. In a research note provided to Powersports Business, Farley provided three predictions in the leisure stock segment. ā€œ1. We believe Polarisā€™ Indian motorcycle will outsell Victory motorcycles in 2014, which suggests unit retail sales of roughly 15K in its first full year. 2. We believe Polaris will introduce the Slingshot ...
