Bandit Lights an Xmas Fire

Bandit’s Cantina Episode 96 : a 2021 Christmas story by K.Randall Ball Bandit looked around at the dozen or so kids and looked at the sleek classic chopper with highbars he was building. The Knucklehead engine and transmission were now in place. Marko approached and whispered something into Bandit’s ear, “Exactly,” Bandit added. It was the week after Thanksgiving. Marko disappeared for a minute and returned with a couple of large boxes marked, “Xmas.” “We need to do something to brighten Christmas for these kids. I’m going to paint the Chopper red and white for the holidays.” said Bandit. CLICK HERE To Read the Christmas Episode of Bandit’s Cantina – The Series. Thanksgiving Bikernet Weekly News for Thanksgiving 2021

Riding Free for 25 Years Hey, Happy Thanksgiving from the Bikernet and 5-Ball crew. We want you to know how much we appreciate your support over the years. We all have so much to be thankful for this Holiday season. We have been lucky Mofo’s forever. Hell, young builders don’t even know how lucky they are to be able to score parts at a swap meet and go to work building a bike, unhampered by a myriad of government agencies. Ask some brothers in Europe, where every product must be approved by maybe not one, but a group of government agencies. There are so many folks and aspects of American life to be thankful for. We are living in the best of times. Have a terrific day, and take a moment to reflect on how good we have it in America, because it is the land of the free and the home of the brave. Ride fast and free, forever! –Bandit CLICK HERE To Read the Weekly News on Bikernet.com Join the Cantina for more – Subscribe Today !!! https://www.bikernet.com/pages/custom/subscription.aspx

Our First Clubhouse: ’60s Satan Slaves

Memories of Motorcycle Club from the early ’60s. by Dave Arthur Shortly after our club started in 1960, we got a clubhouse. I can’t remember if we got it in 1960 or 1961. It was an old house on about an acre. All the members in the club at that time were older than me, most had jobs and a place to live. I loved the new clubhouse, it was a wooden house and it was large and old. The driveway was dirt and long leading to the house. I decided to live there, and any member was welcome to do the same. We had parties there. The parties lasted a few days but there was always a straggler or two who might stay a week or so.
