The Indian Challenger comes in three variants, the Challenger, Challenger Dark Horse and Challenger Limited, with base prices of $21,999, $27,499 and $27,999, respectively. Kawasaki Ninja 650: More comfortable and connected than ever

TOKYO, Oct 9 — Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki has announced an updated version of its Ninja 650 for 2020. For 2020, the medium-weight sportbike has a new TFT color display on which the fuel gauge, gear position indicator, speedometer, “Economical Riding Indicator,” even a connection status with a smartphone via Bluetooth are shown digitally. The screen’s brightness varies according to surrounding light conditions. Among the motorcycle’s other new features are a passenger seat designed for more comfort, new LED headlights both in front and back of the bike, and standard Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres. For the rest, the frame hasn’t changed, keeping a manoeuvrability that works for everyone from beginners to the most experienced riders. There are new colours, however: Lime Green/Ebony, Metallic Spark Black and Pearl Blizzard White. The starting price for the new Kawasaki Ninja is US$7,399 (RM31,000). — AFP-Relaxnews

Royal Enfield launches six variants of Bullet 350

The new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 variants come priced at Rs 1.12 lakh, bookings begin today across India. New Delhi: Royal Enfield has launched six new variants of the Bullet 350 and Bullet 350 ES, priced at Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for these new variants have started today, informed the motorcycle manufacturer in a release. The new Bullet variants come with new colours and livery along with contemporary blacked-out design themes providing a wide range of options to the buyers. The Bullet 350, in addition to its existing black colour, will now be available in three new colours – Bullet Silver, Sapphire Blue and the Onyx Black. On the other hand, Bullet 350 ES comes in Jet Black, Regal Red, Royal Blue colour options in addition to the current Maroon and Silver variants. Also, the motorcycle manufacturer has increased its retail touchpoints. As the company claims in a release, it has launched 250 retail studio stores today and plans to launch another 250 over the next quarter in an attempt to expand its footprint in the market. The company has close to 930 existing dealer touchpoints, over 8,800 service bays and more than 900 authorised service workshops. The company is now aiming to expand its business across the tire II and III cities and towns in the country. Speaking about the launch of the new Studio Stores and the new Bullet variants, Vinod K Dasari, CEO, Royal Enfield, said, “It has been our constant endeavour to build greater accessibility for discerning customers and widen our footprint in India. Mysterious Ducati Bike Teased; Likely To Debut At 2020 Ducati World Première

Could it be the Streetfighter V4, the 2020 Multistrada or something else entirely? The company will showcase its 2020 range of motorcycles on 23 October 2019. The bike in the teaser is most likely the production-spec Streetfighter V4. Other guesses include a Multistrada V4 or an updated Ducati SuperSport. Ducati is set to unveil its 2020 range of motorcycles on 23 October 2019. What’s more interesting is that the company has teased a mystery motorcycle, which has left us scratching our heads and wondering what it could be? Now, the obvious answer could be the production-ready Streetfighter V4. And this would make sense considering that the CEO of the company, Claudio Domenicali, had mentioned that the stripped-down version of the Panigale V4 will be the highlight of the event. But if we had to put on our tin-foil hats and speculate, we think it could also be the 2020 Ducati Multistrada V4 considering the fact that the flagship adventure-tourer was spied testing near Bologna, Italy recently. Other wild guesses include a new and updated SuperSport or the XDiavel. Both motorcycles are due for an update, but what remains to be seen is if they continue to sport the same L-twin setup or come with the Desmosedici Stradale V4 motor instead. While the Italian manufacturer might unveil the bike in October, we expect to see it in the flesh only at the 2019 EICMA show in Milan, which is scheduled to take place in November.
