Sam’s Pick of the Week for 12-Apr-2021

New Report by JJ Solari Editors Note by Keith Ball: I can’t explain it. Generally, we publish Sam’s Picks of the Week with a report about my evil past, or with notions of biker romance and the metalflake experience. But J.J.’s recent findings far outweigh the last time I met a redhead in a bar. However, as you go through your day hanging with brothers, buying motorcycle parts or riding in the wind, you will notice that all seems sorta normal. That’s because you are a biker and completely immune. Riding free works! Click Here to Read the Latest from JJ Solari on Bikernet. Shamrock Saturday put on by Hideout Harley-Davidson had locals gathering up

by Ben Kouchnerkavich from https://www.fourstateshomepage.com Hideout Harley-Davidson in Joplin is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day early. On Sunday afternoon, they held a Shamrock Saturday Event. Live music, a food truck and other activities were available as the rain cleared up in time to hold the event. Adults looked to purchase motorcycles while children were given the opportunity to color and have their artwork displayed around the dealership. “This is our pre-St. Patrick’s Day event,” said Hideout Harley-Davidson sales manager Dale Wano. “What we try to do is every Saturday is have something going on so the public can come out and have a great time. We try to have some music [or] something so the public can do something that’s nice, safe and fun.” Next Saturday, there will be a meet and greet with the local chapter of the Hideout Harley Owner’s Group, followed by an open ride.

The Escape Bikernet Weekly News for June 18, 2020

It’s Crazy but We Will Survive Hey, Another wonderful day in paradise. I joke about the adage from the India-based movie “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.” Great flick: Everything will be all right in the end. If it’s not all right, it’s not the end. Think about that anytime you’re in a jam. Think about it, when strange shit is happening in your hood, in the country or in the industry. Harley seems to be struggling, but I look at it as a transition. And everything will be cool, when they come out of it. I’ve spoken to shop owners all over the country about the times. Here’s a good one. “We had a slow week when the Covid hit,” said Randy Aron of Cycle Visions in San Diego. “Ever since then we’ve been cooking.” So, keep smiling, riding free and rockin’ the world. Let’s hit the news. Get ready to ride and never stop, goddammit! –Bandit CLICK HERE TO READ THE NEWS ON BIKERNET Join the Cantina – subscribe today https://www.bikernet.com/pages/custom/subscription.aspx

Merry Christmas from Lowbrow Customs!

Happy holidays from all of us at Lowbrow! We hope you are having a great time this holiday season and spending time with people you love. Merry Christmas! Twas the night before Christmas, when all along the roads Not a creature was stirring, not even a toad; My Panhead was parked in the garage with care, The car left in the driveway in the open night air; The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of candy bars danced in their heads; And mamma in her ’kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled in bed for a long winter’s ‘nap’, When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the curtains and threw up the shade To see exactly why my ‘nap’ was delayed. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below, When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But the Lowbrow Weirdo pulling in in first gear. His 80 inch Flathead came to a stop, And he left a little gift on the door to my shop. He kicked over his flatty and roared out to the street, Oh how I felt lucky to receive such a treat!
