Bad Boy Berry at Daytona

Rogue presents a feature article with photos on a Daytona Bike Week Attraction If you made it to Sons of Speed or Warren Lane’s Bike Show at the Broken Spoke Saloon there is a good chance you got to see Bad Boy Berry and if you were lucky have your photo taken with him and maybe even sign the stand. Many years ago, there was a chain of restaurants that had a Big Boy statue holding a hamburger outside their business. Called Bob’s Big Boy, there’s still a weekly biker and hotrod meet and greet at Bob’s in Burbank, California. Well Berry Wardlaw of Accurate Engineering in Dothan Alabama the engine builder of the stars, racers and others decided he just had to have one of the fine statues. Well not just any one mind you but…….. Click here to read this photo feature article from Rogue, on location senior editor of Bikernet

Source Media Rolls Out Grease & Gears TV

Pittsburgh, PA – After 27 years of print magazine publication, The Source Media Group, Cycle Source Magazine, Track Side Report and Torque Performance publishers have launched their motorcycle media brand into the future. Grease & Gears TV, a three-year project to bring motorcycle media back to televisions and beyond, has started to pick up speed. After the initial soft launch during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Grease & Gears is growing strong. Due to the enormous support from Dennis Kirk, Grease & Gears is now available on Apple and Andriod devices, Roku, and Firestick. So, no matter where you are or what screen you want to watch it on, 24/7 motorcycle entertainment is at your fingertips. So what is it? “It’s kinda like Netflix for motorcycle riders.” Explains Chris Callen, President of Source Media Group. It’s a collection of stories from the road, inside the garage, and collected over our travels. The great events we go to and the incredible bikes we see all with a deeply personal connection since it is no longer their interpretation of what someone said, but their voice brought to life through video and contained in a place where it will live on forever. The channel is, as Callen went on to say, “…nothing different than the work we have done for three decades. Subscribers pay us to deliver stories on motorcycles, the people who build them, and the places they go on them. Same thing here. We just have another dimension with the video component.” While this is nothing new in social media, as many YouTube sites now focus on motorcycle media, the difference, Callen says, is that Grease & Gears exists outside of the algorithm. Nothing slows the roll for people who want to see great motorcycle media, not even commercials, since they do

The Real, The Raw, The Race

by DMAC Single Speed, No Clutch, No Brakes Vintage Motorcycle Racing – Daytona Beach was and is where it’s at! Along with the evolution of Bike Week, The Daytona 200 has since been moved to blacktop of the Daytona International Speedway. And decades later, Billy Lane resurrected the board track racing tradition and brings alive Sons of Speed racing at New Smyrna Speedway, which is one half mile asphalt track with a 20degree bank. Perfect October weather – great track conditions – and the home town crowd made for an exciting afternoon of old iron, some newer faces, and an overall great event! This is the 6th year since Sons of Speed was launched during Bike Week in 2017, rescheduled due to the hurricane that damaged the track in October, 2016. Indian Motorcycle Racing Leads National Championship

INDIAN MOTORCYCLE RACING LEADS MISSION® SUPER HOOLIGAN® NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOLLOWING SEASON OPENER AT DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY  2022 Super Hooligan® Champion Tyler O’Hara Takes Early Points Lead Following Back-to-Back Wins At Daytona Doubleheader  Indian Motorcycle Racing Comes Away with Podium Finish in Mission® King of the Baggers, O’Hara Ranks Fifth In Season Standings with 21 Points, McWilliams Eighth with 19  MINNEAPOLIS (MARCH 14, 2023) – Following an offseason that expanded the competitive landscape with new manufacturers lining up for the MotoAmerica® Mission® Super Hooligan® National Championship (SHNC), it was Indian Motorcycle Racing and its factory team claiming the top two spots on the leaderboard, following the season-opening doubleheader at Daytona International Speedway. Piloting a pair of S&S®-built Progressive® Mission® Foods Indian FTRs, reigning SHNC champion Tyler O’Hara and teammate Jeremy McWilliams each left Daytona with a pair of podiums, including back-to-back victories for O’Hara and third and second-place finishes for McWilliams. On Friday, March 10, O’Hara strategically tailed RSD Indian FTR privateer Bobby Fong for nearly the entire six-lap race. Waiting for the final lap to strike, O’Hara was able to carry more speed through the chicane and go up and around the outside of Fong to capture the season’s first win by .0064 seconds. McWilliams rounded out the podium to complete the Indian FTR podium sweep. “Bobby was running fast all weekend and gapped me for a period until I was able to make up some ground. The lapper through the chicane definitely played a big role as I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to draft pass him on the finish,” said O’Hara. “But what  a fun race, and for Indian Motorcycle to sweep the podium just shows how impressive this Indian FTR really is.” Race 2 on Saturday, March 11, was filled with plenty of
