Odd Bikernet Weekly News for April 16th, 2020

This Is Supposed to Be Our Kick-Off to Our Roaring ’20s Hey, It’s been an odd week. Remember, this is supposed to be the kick-off to our Roaring ‘20s and now we’re locked down. Plus, the Governor of California said recently about opening that everything will change in the future. No more major sporting events, etc. What about dances and parties, will we all wear masks? Tough to smoke a joint or take a shot of Jack with a mask on? WTF, over. Here’s another odd one. This Pandemic bows well for individual transportation, like cars and motorcycles. All those folks who want us out of our cars and stuffed into electric subways or busses are going to need to rethink their plans. Let’s hit the news and see what else floats to the surface. At the end I’ll report on all the shop projects and the kick-off to another Chance Hogan book. Opportunistic Bikernet Weekly News for April 9, 2020

Investment Strategies and News from Around the World Hey, Life is nuts and then you die. I find it crazy how some folks want to turn a recommendation into a law. They seem to want control. They want to find reasons for control, or maybe they want others to handle the issue for them. I wonder if a University ever took on the study of control? Bike Week 2020

A Case of “Corona”, Tits, Ass, and Speed Not Necessarily In That Order OHh, yeah, and motorsickles … lotsa motorsickles Photos and text by DMAC 79th Daytona Beach Bike Week got It’s humble beginning way back in 1937 and started as the Daytona 200 – a motorcycle race that was actually a 3.2 mile course including beach and roadway. Picture that – high banking on sand – in view of the Atlantic Ocean – musta been a sight – especially with all that iron – newer to them then. Now, all vintage iron to us. Covid Alerts Bikernet Weekly News for March 19th, 2020

Hey, Are we living through some strange times or what? This is one of those tests and we won’t know the answers until it’s over. It’s sorta like a final at the Bikernet medical school. You could check Covid Measures too reactionary and costly and be wrong or visa versa. Let’s just hope at the end of the flu season, we can laugh and say it wasn’t a big deal. Bikernet isn’t shutting down or curbing operations. I’m working around the clock with a couple of contractors in Deadwood to dial in the Badlands Bikernet headquarters for the rally. Sin Wu and the Redhead are approving the Chinese whorehouse décor. Dr. Hamster and Mike Stevenson delivered the Doctor’s Panhead project back to the headquarters, and I will start the finishing touches on it tomorrow to get the sheet metal to Deny for paint and prep this bike for the trip to Deadwood and the rally. Let’s get to the news and at the end I’ll attempt to explain the other items on the Bikernet To-Do list for this year. Hang On! BANDIT’S CANTINA BAD JOKE LIBRARY-– Since it was such a crappy day, I sat in my recliner and started thinking about life. I came to realize that as I have grown older I’ve learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake. Condoms don’t guarantee safe sex anymore, a friend of mine was wearing one when he was shot by the woman’s husband. WHAT A DAY !!!!!!!!!!!! Cantina Episode 89: Wim Says Goodbye

She Was Coming for the Cantina A lucky junk captain could make as much money painting the hull of a ship as he could pulling alongside a departing vessel while the crew tossed their un-used coins to his children below holding their grass-weaved, pointed hats upside down. Bandit crossed new railroad tracks. The port told the city new tracks would lower truck traffic, but it would take years and tons of government intervention and regulations to get the job done. In the meantime, they allowed trucks to fill the streets 24/7, as the numbers of container shipments increased daily. READ THE LATEST EPISODE OF THE CANTINA – CLICK HERE
