Magnificent Bikernet Weekly News for April 30, 2020

Life is Amazing, but a lot of Events are Cancelled Hey, Is life wonderful or not. As we roll into May, more bored folks are coming up with wild conspiracy theories regarding the Covid attack, from political twists to Chinese takeovers. I’m too busy repairing the Salt Torpedo, working on the expanding headquarters in Deadwood, building Dr. Hamster’s Pandemic Panhead and hammering away on the second chapter of my third Chance Hogan book. A friend from Simon and Shusters recommended, years ago, that I write a series. I spoke to the recently passed, Clive Cussler, from Phoenix, who wrote one series after another. He agreed. Just be thankful for what you got–William De Vaughn  See, life is amazing from the plants blooming in the Bikernet patio, to the lines on Christian’s bike, to the scalloped paint job Deny 925 is creating, to another magnificent sunset over the harbor and the thoughts of building another shop in Deadwood surrounded by rolling pine covered hills. We will deal with this punk virus and keep riding towards the light. It’s an interesting news, hang on.   CLICK HERE TO READ THE WEEKLY NEWS ON BIKERNET JOIN THE CANTINA – SUBSCRIBE TODAY https://www.bikernet.com/pages/custom/subscription.aspx

There’s never a dull moment in life. The light at the end of the tunnel is bright! The Basket Case from Hell By Bandit with photos by Wrench It all started on a dark, foggy harbor day in 2018 when the Pandemic basket case arrived at the Bikernet Intergalactic World Headquarters in Wilmington, Califa. Odd Bikernet Weekly News for April 16th, 2020

This Is Supposed to Be Our Kick-Off to Our Roaring ’20s Hey, It’s been an odd week. Remember, this is supposed to be the kick-off to our Roaring ‘20s and now we’re locked down. Plus, the Governor of California said recently about opening that everything will change in the future. No more major sporting events, etc. What about dances and parties, will we all wear masks? Tough to smoke a joint or take a shot of Jack with a mask on? WTF, over. Here’s another odd one. This Pandemic bows well for individual transportation, like cars and motorcycles. All those folks who want us out of our cars and stuffed into electric subways or busses are going to need to rethink their plans. Let’s hit the news and see what else floats to the surface. At the end I’ll report on all the shop projects and the kick-off to another Chance Hogan book. The Bikernet Weekly News is sponsored in part by companies who also dig Freedom including: Cycle Source Magazine, the MRF, Las Vegas Bikefest, Iron Trader News, ChopperTown, BorntoRide.com and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum. Opportunistic Bikernet Weekly News for April 9, 2020

Investment Strategies and News from Around the World Hey, Life is nuts and then you die. I find it crazy how some folks want to turn a recommendation into a law. They seem to want control. They want to find reasons for control, or maybe they want others to handle the issue for them. I wonder if a University ever took on the study of control? BIKERNET BANDANAS TO THE RESCUE

Hey, We’ve had numerous versions on how the exclusive Bikernet Bandana can be used to save lives during this wide-spread Pandemic, while we work on the magnificent Pandemic Panhead. The first, above, came from a secluded source in downtown Long Beach. Then Sin Wu started to manufacturer Bandit’s Safety Masks sequestered on her boat in the Wilmington marina. Currently Paul Davis, a former Harley mechanic, is working on one in Tennessee. He ordered six more so he would have one for every day of the week. We will keep you posted as we road test the Sin Wu version on a run to Winco, the only employee-owned grocery store in the area for supplies. But I was just informed that Emilio who owns his dad’s old shop in Wilmington was broke into last night by a homeless meth head. I need to take some welding gear up the street and see if I can fix his gate. If you buy any book in the 5-Ball Racing shop, you get a Bikernet Bandana for free. Such a deal. The same applies if you buy any leather piece, and then you’ll receive a free book and a Bandana. https://shop.bikernet.com/

A Case of “Corona”, Tits, Ass, and Speed Not Necessarily In That Order OHh, yeah, and motorsickles … lotsa motorsickles Photos and text by DMAC 79th Daytona Beach Bike Week got It’s humble beginning way back in 1937 and started as the Daytona 200 – a motorcycle race that was actually a 3.2 mile course including beach and roadway. Picture that – high banking on sand – in view of the Atlantic Ocean – musta been a sight – especially with all that iron – newer to them then. Now, all vintage iron to us.
