Milestone Collection Apparel from Indian Motorcycles

Indian Motorcycle is launching the new 2022 Milestones Collection of casualwear for men and women. The Milestones Collection aims to celebrate the brand’s heritage by correlating each piece of apparel to a significantly iconic element from its 121-year history. Featuring premium quality and construction, the line includes nine new arrivals. 1920 Scout Engine Tee Since its debut in 1920, the Indian Scout has set the standard for American cruisers and carved its place as a truly iconic motorcycle. With its innovative helical gears and lightweight frame, the Charles Franklin 1920 Scout became a favorite of riders seeking a thrill. Today, the Scout remains a popular choice for new and experienced riders alike. The 1920 Scout Engine t-shirt features the iconic 1920’s Scout engine on the back of the white pocket tee, with an exclusive “Milestones Collection” label on the sleeve. It’s available in the men’s classic fit. 1910 Script Tee and Hat Introduced in 1910, the Indian Script logo ushered in a new era of success on and off the track for Indian Motorcycle. Within a year of the logo’s inception, the Indian Motorcycle racing team swept the podium at Isle of Man – the first of many podium finishes to follow. The grey marl 1910 Script T-Shirt features the original Indian script stamp graphic on the back and is available in the men’s classic fit. The hat, featured in black, includes an embroidered Indian Motorcycle script logo. Big Chief Tee One year after legendary Isle of Man racer and Indian Motorcycle engineer, Charles Franklin, launched Indian Motorcycle’s most enduring line, the Chief, Indian Motorcycle (formerly Hendee Manufacturing Company) introduced the Chief 74. This bike featured a class-leading 74 cubic-inch engine and boasted more power than any other Indian Motorcycle to date, earning it the name “Big Chief.” 100 years

adidas Originals and Past, Present, & Future of Kawasaki ZX

adidas Originals and Kawasaki Celebrate the Past, Present, and Future of ZX with Two Collaborative Sneakers Herzogenaurach, 11th April 2022 – Born out of a shared passion for forward thinking design and unrelenting innovation, this season, adidas Originals and Kawasaki join forces to celebrate the history and future of ZX with two unique takes on the ZX8000 and ZX 5K BOOST silhouettes. An icon that needs no introduction, Kawasaki has been at the forefront of the motorcycle manufacturing industry for decades. Known for its inimitable aesthetic approach, the brand’s signature sportbike brand – ZX™ – served as the inspiration for the adidas design team when they first introduced the original ZX500 sneaker in 1984. Taking cues from Kawasaki’s instantly recognizable design philosophy of motorcycle and color palette, the collaborative ZX8000 sneaker features a White kangaroo leather upper, with Kawasaki Green leather overlays, blue map suede accents, and a Kawasaki Ninja® graphic on the lateral. Meanwhile, the ZX 5K BOOST boasts a Black TPU overlay and eye stays, Kawasaki green accents, a semi-transparent Black ripstop vamp, and a Kawasaki Ninja® logo on the toe-box. Both sneakers are capped off with electroplated lace tips, shoe jewelry and heel pieces, as well as co-branded sock liners. Each pair then comes packaged in a custom box with a printed graphic of the latest Kawasaki Ninja® ZX™-10R, filled with tissue paper bearing a printed Kawasaki motorcycle sketch. The launch of the adidas Originals and Kawasaki collaborative partnership is accompanied by an evocative campaign film which pays homage to Japanese motorbike culture by taking the viewer on an unexpected journey through the city’s streets. Arriving on 14th April 2022, the collaborative ZX8000 and ZX 5K BOOST Kawasaki sneakers are available globally (excl. China) through adidas stores, adidas.com, Confirmed, and select retailers. AMA Champion Roland Sands and Nitro Circus star Andy Bell team up

from https://lbbusinessjournal.com/ by Brandon Richardson ‘Nitro Circus’ star, ex-motorcycle racer team up to open creative business campus in Zaferia A gearhead and an adrenaline junkie meet at a trade show. There is no punchline. Andy Bell and Roland Sands hit it off immediately nearly 20 years ago and have been friends ever since. The two went on to create separate businesses—Roland Sands Design and Sweatpants Media—and, after years of operating out of their respective headquarters, have come together to create a joint home base in Long Beach’s Zaferia neighborhood. The companies together purchased a multi-building property at 1365 Obispo Ave. with a vision for a creative campus. Along with their firms, the graphics company Spin Imaging and Moxi Roller Skates also will call the campus home in a building separate from Sands’ and Bell’s space. “We just wanted like-minded but different companies here to fuel a vibe of people that are stoked and doing rad stuff,” Bell said. “People we can hang out with,” Sands added. “Fabrication, 3D fabrication, film, photography, graphics, printing—it’s all here. Almost any project is possible here, and that’s a pretty special thing.” The friends almost missed out on the space, Sands said. The building was listed in 2018, but he was not in a position to take on the project by himself—and Bell was not ready to jump into such a massive undertaking. But when another buyer went into escrow on the site, the pair said they instantly knew they made a mistake. “This place was built in the ’40s, and it’s gorgeous,” Sands said. After months in escrow, the deal fell through, and Bell and Sands pounced. They bought the property for about $3 million in July 2019. The tenant had a few months left on their lease, so the roughly $2.5 million buildout
