Thanksgiving Bikernet Weekly News for Thanksgiving 2021

By General Posts

Riding Free for 25 Years

Hey,

Happy Thanksgiving from the Bikernet and 5-Ball crew. We want you to know how much we appreciate your support over the years.

We all have so much to be thankful for this Holiday season. We have been lucky Mofo’s forever.

Hell, young builders don’t even know how lucky they are to be able to score parts at a swap meet and go to work building a bike, unhampered by a myriad of government agencies.

Ask some brothers in Europe, where every product must be approved by maybe not one, but a group of government agencies.

There are so many folks and aspects of American life to be thankful for. We are living in the best of times.

Have a terrific day, and take a moment to reflect on how good we have it in America, because it is the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Ride fast and free, forever!

Vance & Hines Reveals New Look for NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles

By General Posts

Vance & Hines Reveals New Look for NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles in
Conjunction with Launch of VO2 Military Power Series Program

Following yesterday’s launch of the Vance & Hines VO2 Military Power Series, the Vance & Hines NHRA race team revealed new livery on all three of their NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycles for Veteran’s Day weekend.

The VO2 Military Power Series is a line of air intake products recognizing five branches of the US Military and supporting the Children of Fallen Patriots, an organization that provides educational resources to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. The logos of the military branches are “officially licensed” to Vance & Hines for use in this program.

Today, in the first round of qualifying at the NHRA Auto Club Nationals in Pomona, California, Vance & Hines riders Angelle Sampey, Andrew Hines and Eddie Kraweic rolled out a new paint scheme honoring veterans and those serving in the US Military. The design features a dramatic take on the stars and stripes of the American flag along with the logos of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.

The Auto Club Nationals are the finale of the NHRA drag racing season. The results will determine the championship in the Pro Stock Motorcycle class for 2021.

Veterans Day Bikernet Weekly News for November 11th, 2021

By General Posts

It’s Crazy It’s Wonderful

The world is nuts. Did you see that Germany won’t sign the declaration to eliminate internal combustion vehicles?

Yet, none of our internal combustion organizations or publications in the United States, like the AMA, Rider Magazine, SEMA, MRF, Dice Magazine, NCOM, Easyriders, NHRA, Auto Club, MIC or the NMA will even question the elimination. If they don’t motorcycles will be toast in a decade.

I don’t think our Veterans fought for this. They fought for open debate. They fought for men and women to be able to stand up and question the government.

Ride Fast and Free Forever and never give up.

I’ll leave it at that. Let’s hit the news:

Scary Shit from Glasgow to Australia

I wonder if we sit down with a one-eyed, witchy woman who reads tea leaves for wide-eyed predictions. Would she say as the candle mysteriously blows out on her floating table, “This is Hitler’s birthday and all the evil, control freak ghosts have reemerged to take over the world again.”

Hang on, let’s hit the news.

Remember to Ride Fast and Free Forever,

Zakar’s professionally built terrain park allows for product testing and demos

California City, CA – October 21, 2021 – The Zakar Event Center and Terrain Park, a subsidiary of RawHyde Adventures, has been named the site of the Vance & Hines Off-Road Proving Grounds (ORPG). As the aftermarket exhaust manufacturer continues to invest in the growing off-road and adventure motorcycle spaces, the ORPG will serve as the company’s private site for product development and testing.

Situated on 100 acres in the heart of the Mojave Desert, Zakar is an ideal location for the new ORPG, offering the Vance & Hines team immediate access to Zakar’s professionally-built terrain park as well as the area’s hundreds of miles of off-road trails.

“We are focused on bringing Vance & Hines exhilaration to all types of off-road riders. Our new proving grounds is an example of our commitment to create a steady flow of great products for off-road fans,” explained Vance & Hines President, Mike Kennedy.

The announcement came on the heels of the introduction of new Vance & Hines exhaust products designed for the adventure motorcycle segment.

“It is refreshing to see a company with the history and pedigree of Vance & Hines invest in the Adventure community,” remarked Jim Hyde, founder of RawHyde Adventures and Zakar Event Center. “ADV riders are all about performance, and to know that the new exhaust for the BMW R 1250 GS is just one of many products to come shows that Vance & Hines is committed to helping grow our space.”
