THE LAYERING STRATEGY – The purpose of layering is to keep you comfortable, insulated and protected. Often times a t-shirt, hoodie and a 5-Ball Jacket, Vest or Shirt is all you need. Then the rider is able to modulate their comfort level by adjusting their layers. Our leathers can easily be rolled up and stowed in your saddlebags or on your handlebars when not needed.

As you know, there’s an excuse for everything. We are scrambling very close to the Bonneville dates and still haven’t fired this puppy up. We’re still messing with the canopy and the body. I needed to take a step back and reassess how we were doing.

This whole process has been a test of desires, wills, and emotional stability. From the very beginning of this odyssey, I wanted this to be a team effort. More folks have been involved in this project than any other motorcycle build I’ve been involved with, except maybe the Easyriders Streamliner.
We softened the leather on all of our Jak shirts and added collars to the full sleeve Jak shirts. The collars have snaps to hold them down on long, fast runs. It’s the coolest, most comfortable leather riding shirt around and at a terrific price.

A planned first all-female spacewalk has been cancelled because of spacesuit issues, US space agency Nasa says.

Anne McClain and Christina Koch had been scheduled to install lithium-ion batteries at the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday.
But Nasa says there is only one ready medium-size hard upper torso spacesuit that fits each of the two women.
The spacesuits available at the ISS are in fact assemblies of several parts put together as best adapted to each astronaut’s body, Brandi Dean, spokeswoman of the Johnson Space Center in Houston, was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency.
Nasa has two medium-size hard upper torsos – considered the “shirt of the spacesuit” – at the ISS but one of the spacesuits has yet to be properly configured for a spacewalk.
NASA says their sizes were medium, large and extra large.
“However, individuals’ sizing needs may change when they are on orbit, in response to the changes living in microgravity can bring about in a body,” she added.
So far only male or mixed male-female teams have conducted spacewalks.

Making Move on Everything!
The last few weeks have been interesting and challenging. We are actually getting close to watching the Salt Torpedo sit on its own three wheels with the help of Yelvington Shocks.
This week we could finish the steering system. We could link the steering with the wheels. We could have a gas tank mounted. We are getting damn close to making a battery mount, and then hooking up the drive line for a run around the block.
