Ben Nighthorse Campbell trucking 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree to Washington, D.C.

  Former Colorado U.S. Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell, a member of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, is behind the wheel of a Mack truck hauling the nation's 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree from Colorado to Washington, D.C., the American Motorcyclist Association reports.  "It is a privilege to drive the tree for the U.S. Capitol from Colorado this year," said Campbell, who was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2001. Campaign spotlights Harley’s Heroes® and DAV with two veterans’ stories   For the fourth straight year, Harley-Davidson continues its tradition of honoring United States military veterans throughout the month of November, this year by raising awareness of DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and the Harley’s Heroes program through a national video campaign spotlighting two veterans who have benefitted from the program.  Troy Torgerson of Wausau, Wis. and Nick Bernardi of Newark, N.J., both served in Iraq and sought help from the DAV upon their return home. Free Car Washes For Veterans & Military Personnel, Nov 11 & 12

Lucas Oil Center will provide FREE car washes to veterans and current military service personnel, through the Grace for Vets FREE Wash Program, on Sunday November 11th from 9am-5pm, and Monday November 12th from 7am-6pm 2012. Washes will be given rain or shine at 2650 N.
