Corbin Adds Stingray to Their List of Saddle Materials

By General Posts

Corbin just added genuine Stingray hide to their long list of leathers and other materials used on their saddles. Stingray is extremely durable, very thick and holds color extremely well, but Corbin does not recommend putting a stitch pattern on it. Unlike their faux materials, this is an exotic hide and since stingrays don't exactly volunteer for this, it does carry an extra charge. Stingray is available in fifteen color options and by special order only so please allow a little extra time when ordering.

Corbin chose their Hollywood Solo Saddle for 2009-2013 Harley-Davidson Touring models as their first seat to offer stingray. Corbin’s Hollywood Solo Saddle gives your bike a slick profile while providing you with boulevard cruising comfort. Their Fibertech basepan was designed specifically for the Bagger chassis and provides a perfect, flowing fit along the tank and hugging the chassis with a perfect fit and no gaps. The whole seat rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job.

For your occasional passenger, Corbin makes a 50's style pillion pad that keeps a very clean look on your fender while providing a passenger perch. The pillion pad is thin and ultra low for the cleanest possible lines and uses ultra high density foam for a surprisingly plush ride. Works with a variety of HD passenger backrest and sissy bar options for maximum versatility.

50's pillion includes genuine leather seating and materials to match your Corbin Hollywood solo. However, we do not recommend a stitch pattern on the pillion as the look becomes overwhelming… it works much better clean and smooth as shown here. Installation is simple with all required hardware included. Passenger pillion works with a variety of H-D accessories and options like the "detachable" sissy bar.

The uniquely styled Classic Solo’s seating platform conforms to the shape of your body for maximum support and more square inches of body contact. This is one of the secrets of long range comfort and is a staple of Corbin design.

Hollywood solo mounts with a new key lock system designed by the Corbin wizards. They included special brackets that bolt up to your bagger and provide a stainless steel latch pin on top. Once brackets are in place, you install/remove the Hollywood Solo easily with a supplied key. 50's pillion is held in front by Corbin's Hollywood Solo and uses a stock mounting location at the rear. For a very clean installation, use one of our chromed billet thumbscrews in this spot! (MSRP: Hollywood Solo/Standard-$359.00, Hollywood Solo with Stingray-$682.00, 50’s Style Standard Pillion-$219.00, 50’s Style Pillion with Stingray-$343.00, Billet Thumbscrews-$19.99)

Don’t forget to make your reservations early for Corbin’s 4th Annual Rider Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 6, 2013 (the weekend before the Fourth of July).
