  Motorcyclists thrown out of the Florida State Fair because they wore their love of America and Christianity on their sleeve must amend their lawsuit, a federal judge ruled. Mark Denico, Thomas Griswold Jr., Timothy Newberry and Dennis Walsted had arrived at the Florida State Fair on Feb. 7, 2010. Denico and Griswold are members of the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club, and were wearing patches on their motorcycle vests showing an American flag, an eagle and the word "Liberty." Newberry and Walsted belong to the Spirit Riders Motorcycle Ministry, and their patches depicted a crucifix, a crown, beams of light, wings and two white doves. The American Motorcyclist Association Motorcycle Hall of Fame will open its doors free of charge on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, as part of Smithsonian magazine's ninth annual Museum Day. Harley-Davidson rider Andrew Hines rode his V-Rod to the team’s first NHRA National event victory of the season at the Carlyle Tools NHRA Carolina Nationals presented by NAPA Auto Parts at zMAX Dragway. Hines won the event when Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Sr. fouled at the start in the final round of eliminations. “This was a get-well weekend for the Screamin’ Eagle team,” said Hines, who won three of four rounds against opponents who fouled at the start. “The fact is I was at the starting line and did my job, and they didn’t.     Just thought I'd give you an update. Ed Kretz Jr passed away last Sun so I thought it was fitting to ride an Indian from the west coast to bring everyone's sympathy along. Sort of a tribute ride. Little did I know a storm was about hit and make it such a challenging adventurous ride with knocked out secondary roads i like to take and way outa the way detours like hours out of my way. I finally made it Castle Rock Colorado, which is just south of Denver only to be in the storms back here. Ya just gotta laugh about this stuff. Looking forwards to some sun lol. And the real shitter is I had to stop at a Harley store in Durango ...

    This was covered in The Week Magazine this week. A former racing driver blinded in an accident last year became the first sightless man to race on Bonneville Salt Flats. Dan Parker, 43, completed a 2-mile run on a a custom-build  trike at over 55 mph. Guided by GPS giving him audible cues, he was instructed which way to turn.
