New Red Shift 587 Cam for CVO-110 Engines

Harleyā€™s CVO 110ā€ engine is quite different from the 103, as it is equipped with much larger valves and heavier valve springs. Zipper's Performance'sĀ engineers went to work and designed the 587 cam withĀ the factory CVO 110 in mind. The goal was to provide smoother, more exciting power over stock from 2,000 rpm to over 100 horsepower at red line, without the trademark at-lining at 4,500 that the stock cam provides. Zipper's says that torque is improved across the entire rpm range for that great big-block engine feel. This Red Shift bolt-in camshaft was created for the CVO rider who wants his motorcycle to perform as good as it looks! More information is available about this new cam here.

THE EVER-CHALLENGING BIKERNET WEEKLY NEWS for April 28th, 2016

Hey, Here we go. This is one of those days. Iā€™m not sure where to start. Iā€™m excited and tenuous. This year put me in the middle of a whirlwind. I was attempting to finish my most recent book. Itā€™s a crossroads endeavor. I want it to be the best book I ever wrote, ā€˜cause it might be my last. Our 1923 building came under fire and yesterday we had another meeting with Building and Safety. We proposed a couple of fixes and rewriting a bad permit. Our presentation was packed with data, and the guy we met with hadnā€™t read any of it. After six months, we are rewriting the plan once more. Weā€™ve done a lot for Bikernet, ...

Wayne Rainey Trailblazers Hall of Fame 2016 Inductee

Editorā€™s Note: Iā€™ve attended the Trailblazer banquet for a few years now. This year was the 72 annual banquet. Some 750 folks, mostly motorcycle racing industry veterans, crowded the Carson, California, community center. I find it to be an inspiring gathering each year, and again I will try to share some of the stories from the new inductees into the 200 strong Trailblazers Hall of Fame. Hereā€™s the list from this year: Mike Bast, Dan Haaby, Bruce Ogilvie and Wayne Rainey, are all former racers with amazing records. More Than Storage For Your Bike ā€” It’s A Showcase

Here's something Bikernet stumbled upon while looking for storage solutions for your bike: the Indoor Bike ShowCase. This vehicle storage shelter is a "touchless" cover since it is designed to never come in contact with your bike. This is made possible by using heavy-duty PVC inflatable air columns that support over 70-pounds to hold up side access panels that zip closed and seal the vehicle inside. A front panel, which zips open and rolls up, acts like a door and allows users to simply ride their bike in and out. The Indoor ShowCase is easy set up and is ready for use in 3-4 minutes. All you need to do is attach the 12-volt 150 CFM pressure sensitive air pump ...
