Suffragettes Centennial Motorcycle Ride Announces Ten Starting Locations for 2020 Ride

Three West Coast cities and seven other starting locations highlight the ride into Washington D.C. The Suffragettes Centennial Motorcycle Ride (SCMR2020) is announcing the ten cities that will be the starting points for the ride into Washington, D.C. honoring the 100-year anniversary of the 19th Constitutional Amendment. The female and couple-centric ride will start open registrations in 2018 for ten different routes that will all converge into Washington, D.C. in August of 2020 to celebrate American womenā€™s right to vote in elections and honor the Suffragette movement that led the charge. 2nd Annual Sons of Speed Race

More than a dozen vintage-powered race bikes re-created the board track races of the early 20th Century at the second Sons of Speed race on October 21. The event took place at New Smyrna Speedway during the Daytona Beach, Floridaā€™s Biketoberfest. Billy runs a heat in period gear. This fresh yet nostalgic race event, instigated by Billy Lane of Choppers Inc., first ran in March of this year during Daytona Bike Week on New Smyrnaā€™s banked half-mile asphalt track. That time, Brittney Olson took first, followed by Matt Harris in second and Shelly Rossmeyer-Pepe in third.
