Riders were treated to a day off, of sorts, when the game was called after the storm laid waste to route conditions and made passage unsafe. The official check in was scheduled for 4pm at Harley-Davidson of Jamestown, New York after bikes were trailered the 202 miles from Binghamton. Staff volunteers, however, still had to get their personal bikes from point A to point B regardless of the weather. So Stage 3 was a case of the road crew representing the Cannonball as Mother Nature did her best to deter the group.
Stage 4 will have a 4:50 finish at Buffalo Wild Wings in Bowling Green, Ohio. Come on out to see the bikes and meet the riders. Let’s just hope Mother Nature has that temperature tantrum out of her system.
